1. About these terms
This website is operated by Synergy Salon of Tampa Bay, Inc. (“Synergy Salon”, “we”, “us”). By using the website, booking an appointment or receiving a service from us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or book with us. We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
2. Appointments and booking
- Appointments can be booked online through our website or by calling or texting 813.654.2055.
- An online booking is a request for a time. Your appointment is confirmed when you receive a confirmation from us.
- You may request a specific stylist, or book the first available. If you do not request someone by name, we will assign an available stylist from our team.
- Every service begins with a consultation, which is complimentary. If, after that conversation, the result you want is not achievable safely or in the time booked, we will tell you before we start and suggest an alternative.
- We may need to reschedule an appointment because of illness, an emergency or circumstances outside our control. If that happens we will contact you as early as we can and offer the next available time.
3. Cancellations and late arrivals
Your appointment reserves a stylist’s time, so we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. You can cancel by phone, by text or by replying to your confirmation.
If you arrive late we will do our best to carry out the full service, but we may need to shorten it or rebook you, so that guests booked after you are not kept waiting. Repeated missed appointments without notice may mean we ask for confirmation before booking you again.
4. Our guarantee
Love it, or you don’t pay. If you are not happy with your hair, tell us. We would much rather put it right than have you leave unhappy.
Contact us as soon as you can, and we will invite you back so a stylist can adjust the result. If you would still rather not pay for the service, we will refund it.
The guarantee covers the service we performed. It does not cover a change of mind about a look you approved and then decided against later, work carried out by another salon, or a result affected by home colouring or treatments applied after your visit.
5. Pricing and payment
- Prices depend on the service, the length and condition of your hair, and the time and product required. We will quote you at your consultation, before any work begins.
- Colour corrections and longer or thicker hair may take more time and product, and may cost more. We will always tell you before we start.
- Payment is due at the end of your appointment.
- Gratuities are appreciated but never expected.
6. Services, results and your safety
Hair is individual. Its history, texture, porosity, and any previous colour or chemical treatment all affect what can be achieved, and how the result looks and lasts. A photograph you bring in is a guide, not a promise.
So that we can work safely, please tell your stylist about:
- any allergies or sensitivities, including to hair colour, or a previous reaction to a salon service;
- any recent colour, keratin, relaxer, perm or home treatment, including box colour;
- any scalp condition, medical condition, medication or treatment that may affect your hair or scalp;
- if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you have not had a colour service with us before and are concerned about a reaction, ask us about a patch test before your appointment. We rely on the information you give us, and we may decline a service if we believe it is not safe for your hair or scalp.
7. AI scalp analysis
Our scalp analysis is a cosmetic assessment. It uses a digital scan to look at the surface of your scalp and hair, and it helps us recommend salon treatments and products. It is not a medical diagnosis and does not replace advice from a doctor or dermatologist. If you are worried about hair loss, a scalp condition or your health, please speak to a medical professional.
8. Children in the salon
We are happy to cut children’s hair. Appointments for anyone under 18 should be booked by a parent or guardian, who should remain in the salon during the service. For everyone’s safety, children who are not receiving a service need to stay with the adult who brought them, as our work areas contain hot tools and chemicals.
9. Personal property
Please keep your belongings with you. We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property brought into the salon. Salon services can mark clothing, so we will offer you a cape and ask that you avoid wearing anything you would be upset to stain.
